Recently we had the opportunity to sit down and chat with one of our very first corporate clients, real estate agent extraordinaire – Brenda Wade
Brenda, we would love to know more about how you decided to go into a career in real estate.
I was born to be a realtor! My father was a contractor in Pensacola, Florida, and I grew up watching homes being built. I remember almost every night, family conversations were centered around something my dad was working on. I just love sales and this helped to launch my Real Estate career in 1984. I was the Top Rookie, Top Producer from the very first month I entered the business. Along the way, I opened/owned a successful Re/Max office before relocating from Houston to Atlanta and finally to Tampa, where I have lived for over 20 years. My real estate team and I focus on the Tampa Bay communities of Brandon, Riverview, Dover Apollo Beach, Lithia, Valrico, Seffner and Tampa. We love helping our clients sell their homes and help our other clients find the home of their dreams!
Please tell us about your family – are they all here in Tampa too?
My first passion is my family. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ronney. We have a son Austin, his bride Brittany, and our daughter, Alison. I am excited that Ronney, Austin, and Alison have all decided to work with me as part of the Brenda Wade Team!
When and how did you first hear about and taste Toffee to Go? What was your reaction?
I believe I first ordered Toffee to Go in 2003. I went to the Junior League of Tampa’s Shopping Event in Channelside, tasted Toffee to Go and was hooked!
Brenda, you’ve been a client of Toffee to Go’s for quite some time, when did you place your first order and for how many boxes?
We started with 60 gold branded boxes of Toffee to Go for my customers and now I think we order close to 2000 branded boxes each year!
In addition to sending Toffee to Go at the holidays, we would love for you to share with us some other reasons you send out Toffee to Go throughout the year to your clients?
We give Toffee to Go at every closing and to everyone who refers business our way. We love it as a gift for every occasion. It is the sweetest gift and I have lots of customers and friends who agree!
Anything else you would like to say about Toffee to Go?
I love working with Lisa, it's been great to watch her business grow along with mine. I have recommended Toffee to Go to other agents around the country because it is a great treat for my wonderful customers and theirs. My boxes are branded and my customers expect to have a little toffee treat, year after year. Toffee to Go was on my favorites list, long before Oprah found it, but I am glad she knows what Tampa Bay knows! Toffee to Go is wonderful and a great way to build your brand.
