In our conversation with Hill Ward Henderson, a Tampa-based law firm, we learned they established a $100,000 scholarship fund in 2006. Twelve deserving young recipients have received HWH Scholarships to date.

Please tell us about Hill Ward Henderson.
In 1986 our firm was founded with seven seasoned, well-known attorneys, including Benjamin H. Hill, III, David E. Ward, Jr., and Thomas N. Henderson, III. The firm’s concentration has always been to serve as a business law firm. Today, with over 100 attorneys offering a wide range of premier commercial legal services in nine different practice areas, our firm's superior reputation for results-oriented service continues to fuel our growth. This year the firm celebrated our 30th anniversary.
Congratulations on 30 years! We love your Hill Ward Henderson scholarship program and the opportunities you give youth in our Tampa Bay Area community. When did Hill Ward Henderson start this program and can you tell us about it?
Benjamin H. Hill, III, one of the firm's founders, often tells young lawyers, "Practicing law is a privilege, not a right. As such, we as lawyers have an obligation to give back to our community."
In 2006, Hill Ward Henderson marked its 20th anniversary and to celebrate this milestone, we did not honor the institution but rather its core - the people who make it up and the community that has supported it. A few short months after proposing the idea, our firm had endowed a $100,000 scholarship fund, primarily through attorney, staff and client giving. This fund continues to grow significantly through annual private and firm contributions.
The Hill Ward Henderson Scholarship honors need-based high school seniors with an accomplished academic record, strong character and demonstrated commitment to the community. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the HWH Scholarship Program. With this scholarship, our firm has had the privilege to positively impact the lives of deserving young men and women and encourage their continued growth and success.
We are thankful to Hill Ward Henderson for giving so many young people in our Tampa Bay community the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams through your scholarship fund.

After tasting Toffee to Go for the first time, we were a faithful client. We couldn’t get enough of the delicious toffee. We love to celebrate our clients and firm friends not only during the holidays, but throughout the year too. We send toffee to celebrate community involvement, awards, promotions and so many wonderful actions our clients and friends take throughout the year. We are truly lucky to serve the incredible women and gentlemen in our community. In addition, we give Toffee to Go as appreciation gifts to guest speakers at our seminars and events. We love giving out the delicious toffee in our customized HWH tins that Toffee to Go has created for us!
